Q:I will be visiting my son in Chicago with my wife next month and plan to stay there for 4 months. I am 70+ and my wife is 68+. Can we get an insurance policy covering ACCIDENT ONLY during our stay?

A:
We offer insurance to visitors to the US. The plans will cover any new illness or injury that occurs after the effective date of the policy. If you would like a quote we will need the dates you are wanting the coverage and then we can email you the cost of the different plans. You can also call our office to speak with a licensed insurance agent to get more information. Our website is also available for quotes and more information on the available plans.

Q:I'm trying to sort insurance for my husband who is in the USA. He is a USA citizen but resident abroad. I have got insurance with you but forgot to renew so you am re-doing. However there is nothing on the form which says that he is resident abroad and the companies that come up seem to be giving insurance for those traveling to the usa as if they are not us citizens. Or does it not matter as long as I put he is a US citizen wanting insurance for the US? He went in to the US about 90 days ago so I would put it from tomorrow onwards?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. On the home page you will need to change the country of citizenship to 'U.S. Citizen'. Once you have done this, you will only see plans which he is eligible for based upon the search criteria entered. A U.S. citizen who resides abroad is eligible to purchase some short term medical insurance plans based upon the plans home country definition. The home country in the Liaison plans is the country where the insured has their true, fixed and permanent residence. You may also purchase over the phone by contacting our office at (866) 467-8289. If you have any additional questions please let us know.

We have a plan called Atlas Group Insurance. It meets all the Schengen visa requirements. Q:I wish to travel from Mumbai to Houston USA from 5th March 2016 and returning Mumbai on 11th April 2016. I am 67 years old. Please confirm pre existing is covered I am taking medicine for Blood Pressure

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. As a broker we provide insurance from many companies. Essentially all the plans fall into two categories. Fixed coverage and comprehensive coverage. Fixed plan cost less and provide limited coverage while comprehensive plan cost more and it provides better coverage. None of the plan pays for any routine dr. visit and preventive care for the existing conditions. However some plan has coverage for acute onset of pre-existing conditions below age 70. More information on acute onset of pre-existing conditions can be found here. You can purchase Atlas America comprehensive plan. You can also compare these plans on our website Please enter appropriate criteria. You will find many plans and you can also compare them side by side.

Q:I usually get the atlas America insurance from the ins unit for myself and my baby who is 20 months old. I understand that it does not cover well visits and vaccines. Q:I am trying to buy medical insurance for my father (age 71). I have selected VisitorSecure plan B with $200 deductible. Can you please explain how this works for a doctor visit? It says $75 max per visit. If the doctor bills $150 then do I need to take care of all $150 because it is less than deductible? Or Will the plan pay $75 and I need to take care the rest of $75?

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. Deductible is the amount you must pay before insurance pays anything. Visitor Secure has deductible is per incident. So if you take $200 deducitble first you have to satisfy your $200 deductible before insurance pays anything. You can also find more plans on our website Please enter policy max. range between $50,000-$65,000 you will find many plans and you can also compare them side by side. If you have any further questions feel free to contact us.
