Q:Insurance Deductible Questions I am considering the Patriot Policy for my visiting mother and when reading the policy terms my understanding is that the deductible has to be paid FIRST in order for your company to process the claim and pay the benefit. This is unlike any other insurance policy I ever purchased and I am not sure that I understand right, is this correct? If so, what happens if I pay the deductible in installments directly to the hospital over a 4 month period for example? Is the insurance company holding disbursement until I finish paying the deductible?
