I have got a five months training offer from the International Center for Regulatory Science, University of Southern California to learn courses from 15 August 2017 to 15 January 2018 as a visiting student. I am required to purchase Health and Accident Insurance for my stay. I have been informed that your company works with USC for the same. I just want to get the price quotations and also an advice on how can I proceed. Kind regards,

Q:This is in regards to the health insurance plans for international students studying in the US. I will be attending Gettysburg College in August. I wanted to inquire if you have any health insurance plans that provide coverage in the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Can you please send me details of any such health insurance plans. I would also be grateful if you can explain how the health insurance will work; will I have to find doctors/specialists within the Preferred Provider Organization and how will I know which doctors/specialists are within the PPO? I included my requirements for waivers. I am interested in purchasing the "STUDENT SECURE SMART" health insurance plan. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

A:
Yes, the Student Secure Smart will meet the requirements as listed. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our office.

Q:I am writing to consult some information about internatioanl insurance. Because I will go to Italy for a week, but I do not know which type of insurance I need to buy. Would you like giving me some advice? The requirements of the Italy Visa is as follows: Medical Insurance Coverage Abroad for the entire period of travel in the Schengen area with a minimum coverage of Euro 30,000 for hospitalization, emergencies, evacuation and repatriation. Make sure that these 4 benefits are itemized on the policy issued by your current US Health Insurance company, or by a US Travel Insurance company. If your US insurance provider cannot issue a letter specifying the above, you contact a travel insurance company which will be able to do so. (we do not accept insurance card or insurance booklets) In addition, I am a exchange Phd student from China (no-American), and now I am studying in USA with J1 Visa.

A:
Please use the link listed below to search policies that will meet the Schengen Visa requirements. If you need any additional clarification please contact our office. Schengen Visa Insurance

Q:My husband and I are expecting our first child in November and we plan to travel to the United States (Idaho) from Canada (Alberta) for a week at the end of August. When we were discussing this with our midwife, she commented that we should check into our travel insurance to determine whether there was coverage for costs associated with pre-term labor and a newborn baby outside of Canada. We have determined I have coverage through work for travel outside of Canada as long as it is 8 weeks prior to my due date (Blue Cross). However, we know there would be high costs associated with treatment of a newborn (e.g. NICU) that are not be covered if I were to go into early labor. I am not sure if it makes a difference that I am a U.S. citizen when finding coverage. Are you aware of any policies that would be available for these circumstances?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. However, there are no plans that we can offer you to coverage any maternity related expenses. If you need any additional clarification please contact our office.
