Q:I have been looking at health insurance and came across your Student Secure Budget plan. With regards to the sports cover, it says you will cover club sport injuries up to $3000. If I join a Taekwondo club would any injuries I sustain doing this be covered? The club is not part of the University. Another point, do you allow cover for vaccinations? I will be attending Kennesaw State University.

A:
In order for the Student Secure series plans to cover any club sports to include Taekwondo it must be sanctioned by the University and approved.

Q:I'm a J-1 visa PhD student in the University of Central Florida, and looking for a new quote that covers the requirements. I see Atlas Essential is one of the good choices, but need to make sure about it. I have 3 dependents J-2 visas (a wife and 2 children).

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. The recommended plan option that UCF has for acceptable insurance is the Patriot Exchange Program. The Atlas Essential plan is not a recommended plan option for your University.

Q:I am applying for a 9 month French Visa for long-term visitors. I want to make sure that the French consulate in NY will accept the InsuBuy Atlas health insurance, if I am to purchase it. I need a plan with a $0 deductible and : Proof of medical insurance with coverage for medical expenses up to 40,000$ (or the equivalent in euros) valid during the whole stay in France. Letter from the insurance company only: cards or full coverage contracts will be declined. The insurance should state that under your policy you are covered for medical expenses, emergencies and hospitalization for a long stay in France, with the limit amount of coverage if there is one (or "unlimited" if there is no limit of coverage)

A:
Yes, the Atlas International plan does meet the Schengen visa requirements and will provide a visa letter at the time of purchase that you can provide to the consulate. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our office.
