Q:I am scheduled to visit US from 14th July18 to 19th Aug18. Please let me know the policies that I can have. Please also mention about pre-existing diseases.

A:
Thank you for this information. In what state will you need coverage? Also, plans will cover any new accidents and new illness that happen after the effective date of the policy. Plans will not cover the pre-existing conditions, routine doctors' visits, preventative care nor any medications related to pre-exiting conditions. Some plan will cover for an acute onset of a pre-existing condition. You can find more information about this coverage using the following link.

Q:Our 23 year old daughter will be studying in Spain on a 180 day visa beginning in late august 2018. Her international health insurance needs are fully covered by my employer-provided Horizon BC/BS plan, except for evacuation and repatriation coverage. Do you sell supplemental evacuation and repatriation insurance for individual students who have otherwise adequate health insurance coverage?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Unfortunately , there is not a plan that is stand alone for medical evacuation and repatriation. I would recommend considering an international plan that included that benefit as she will not use it for the medical and adjust to a high deductible. The medical evacuation and repatriation benefit will pay independently from the deductible and co-insurance. You can find eligible plans using the link listed below.
