Q:My wife and I plan on taking 2 trips outside the USA in the next 12 months and we were told to get travel insurance multi-trip or annual. However I cannot find a policy like that on your website (which is a great easy to use website by the way) that includes trip cancellation. Can you help? And if the total cost of our non-refundable costs for the 2 of us totals out to $3700-3800 do we split that $1800 each on the application? or how does that work?

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. The multi-trip plans do not include trip cancellation. You can instead purchase two trip cancellation plans that will also include benefits offered in the multi-trip plans. Depending on which trip cancellation plan you purchase it would either request the total or a per person amount. When running the quote from our website /trip-cancellation-insurance/ you will enter a per person amount so you would split the total between you. If you need additional assistance please feel free to contact our office.

Q:Hi, My wife is travelling from India to the USA as my dependent on H4. I want insurance for her for 3 months (tentative). Is there a possibility for me to cancel within 3 months time or extend after my 3 months time. Please advise

A:
If she will only need coverage for a few months then you can purchase the plans from the Visitor to USA section of our website We would recommend either Patriot America Plus or Atlas America. Most plans can be extended or cancelled and you will see links for both under the details of the plans. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our office.
