Hi, The ages are 70 and 59. DAtes from Aug 1 to Jan 15th including travel. 100K policy with 1000 deductible. I’m looking at Atlast America and Safe Travels USA comprehensive. Q:How much will I be charged for each extension period?

A:
The plan is a per day cost. So when you renew it depends on how many days you are purchasing when renewing for example a month (30 or 31 days) 2 weeks, etc. Each time you renew in addition to the # of days purchased there is a $5.00 renewal fee for some plans. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:So I I buy a plan for 3 months how will the 6 month pre-existing waiting period work?

A:
If you buy a plan that has a 6 month waiting period for only 3 months you will not reach the 6 months required to be eligible for the benefit. If you buy the plan for 3 months and then renew it before it expires then the policy would continue and once it surpasses the 6 month period then that benefit would be available.
