Q:Credible Coverage Would the Diplomat Long Term Travel Ins, underwritten by GU, qualify as credible coverage when the insured returns to the country and enrolls back into the traditional coverages? this would be for a VA resident traveling outside of the country for ~ 1 year. thanks.

A:
No, it would not qualify. do you have any travel insurance plans that will count as credible coverage? if so, which one? Travel plans just that, travel plans. They are not major medical insurance plans. And therefore, they can't be counted as creditable coverage.

Q:Error when applying Hello, My situation is the following. I am living in the united states but I am not a citizen, nor a resident. I am travelling to France (my home country) for the summer and would like medical coverage during this period. Therefore, I chose to subscribe to Patriot America with Patriot Return coverage. However, when I try to apply to apply, I get the following error message: # The following errors occurred during processing -This product is not available for travel within your country of residence. I though the return coverage was preciseley designed for travel within country of residence. Can you help me asap? Thank you,

A:
When applying, you have to write your country of resident is 'United States'. I understand you may not be permanent resident (green card holder) as per the immigration department (USCIS). But that does not matter for the insurance purpose. If you are living in the US, your country of residence is US. Please try again with that at https://www.insubuy.com and it would go through. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any other questions.

Q:Information about Patriot America insurance Hello I am thinking to buy Patriot America insurance for my parents who are visiting US on 1st July till 10th Sept. I had taken online quote which is coming nearly $655 with $100 deductible. Just had a question regarding its renewal. If their stay got extended by another month or so will i be able to renew the insurance? On website it says $5 for renewal < 1 month. Does that mean that we could only extend less than a month after which again we will have to purchase the insurance? Please advise. Waiting for your response. Thanks and Regards

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing Patriot America. You can renew it for any duration you like anywhere from 5 days to 12 months. If you renew for less than 1 month, there is $5 renewal fee. If you renew for 1 month or more, there is no renewal fee, just the regular premium.
