Q:I'm an Egyptian 34 year old female resident in Kuwait. I am 10 weeks pregnant and I want to deliver the child in the USA. Is there any insurance policy available to cover the delivery and any health care for family?

A:
Unfortunately, there is not an insurance that you could purchase to cover the cost any maternity or delivery related expenses for your pregnancy. If you are to have a baby in the United States this would be an expense that you would pay for out of pocket.

Q:A family will arrive to FL for at least 1 year in few days on a student visa. The husband has the student visa, he can get insurance not from me. Is there a plan which I can offer just to the wife, which includes pregnancy (not yet pregnant but plans on one) ? She'll have student's spouse visa.

A:
If she was purchasing a plan with the F1 then yes there would be plans that would cover pregnancy. The plans that offer coverage to the F2 alone do not have coverage for pregnancy.

Q:I would like to know that for visitor's insurance, can we apply any time after the arrival or it has to be done before that? My parents are coming to New Mexico.

A:
It's recommended to purchase before they travel so they can be covered during travel and once they have arrived, although for your situation it would not be a necessity as there are no geographical restrictions in the state of New Mexico. They would be eligible to purchase any of the plans from the visitors section of our website.
