If your organization is insuring the participants, provide a copy of the policy and/or brochure, including exclusions and the rating of the policy. The plan does not cover for routine medical exams or dental. You would have to pay for those services out of pocket. These are the requirements of Uchicago for J2-Visa holders Insurance Requirements for Exchange Visitors ________________________________________ Minimum coverage shall provide 1. The University has determined the current industry standard to be 6 months or less. 2. Shall not unreasonably exclude coverage for perils inherent to the activities of the exchange program in which the exchange visitor participates.
