Q:Hello! I am planning to travel to Costa Rica, and I have a question about your offered plans. I am not a US resident and I need an insurance that covers 2000 for quarantine de to COVID-19 in Costa Rica. I see your plans like "Safe Travel International" cover that but also offer medical emergency expenses. I already have an insurance that covers medical emergencies, so I was wondering if there's an option to buy only the lodging expenses due to quarantine insurance. Thanks!

A:
The Safe Travels International Cost Saver does meet requirements for Costa Rica for non- U.S. residents. However, there is not a way to purchase only the specific coverages needed. There is not a plan that will offer only lodging/ travel delay/ quarantine benefits alone. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:Hi. I am a student on F1 visa from India coming to University of North Carolina - School of Arts on 18th August. I intend to buy ExchangeGuard Choice policy. I have just one question: Your policy under this link (https://www.insubuy.com/exchangeguard/exchange-visitor-health-insurance/) says under benefits that the Limit for Hospital Room and Board is Average Semi-Private Room Rate, including nursing services. So if I am admitted in one of your United PPO in-network hospital which does not have any semi-private room available and they put me in a private room, and if I have opted for 100% coinsurance, will I have to pay anything? Please advise. I would appreciate an early response. Krishan MohtaM: 91-9830048798

A:
If you are admitted into a private room, you would have to pay any additional costs out of pocket for the charges exceeding the plan benefits. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
