Q:Visitor Insurance Plan, Pre Existing Conditions I am contacting with regard to a new visitor's insurance plan. I would like to get few information about enrolling a new policy for my parents visiting me. May I know the coverage policy on pre-existing condition on the policy holder. My parents are visiting me for a duration of 6 months. My dad has pre existing conditions of CLD (Chronic liver disease), PHTN (Portel hyper tension) and DM2 (Diabetes Mellitus type 2). I am aware that in general cases pre existing conditions are not covered by insurance plan. But if there is any life threatening situation is encountered, I would like to know what are the coverage options for us.Will he be covered in such situation. Can I get some details please?
Q:Family visits USA: Insurance needed My family is planning to visit US from 04/20/16 to 05/13/16. We need to purchase a medical insurance that may be applied to all my relatives during their stay in US as following: US citizens 4 and 1,5 years old accordingly; my wife is 38 years old and step daughter 13 years old are not US citizens will enter in US under immigration visas and they need to have the proper insurance as well.
