Q:I have an immigrant visa (temporary I-551 evidencing permanent for 1 year). I am 66 years old and arrive in us on Dec 6, 2022. What medical plan I can use.

A:
If you are entering the U.S. on a green card to reside in the U.S., you would need to enroll into domestic insurance through the HealthCare Exchange in your state you will be residing. Eligibility in domestic insurance makes you ineligible for our plans. We have 1 plan that can provide some coverage for new illnesses or new injuries contracted after the effective date until your domestic insurance plan starts that could be avalible to you depending on what state you are coming to. /international-major-medical-insurance/ You can run quotes and review the plan information through the above link. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:Hello There, I hope you are well. I have a British Citizen, based in the UK, and since 28 September due to some mid back ache I have had 10 scans! One of those scans shows a lesion on a vertebrae. the spine consultant feels it is harmless, it is too small to biopsy so they want to watch it by rescanning in 3 to 6 months. I am due to travel to Florida 29th December 2022 and am struggling to get UK insurance providers to cover for this condition. I have not had any hospital stays due to this condition. My consultant feels it is safe to travel and go on holiday. Is this something you could cover for? Many thanks in advance. Ali

A:
We do not have plans that can cover someone coming to the U.S. for treatment for a pre-existing condition. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
