I want to change my insurance, because I have been told that this plan will not meet the preexisting requirement as it excludes them see below: "Acute Onset of Pre-existing Condition (excludes chronic and congenital conditions) (only available to members under age 70)" In order to meet the UCSB's Health Insurance Requirements, my plan cannot exclude any preexisting conditions or state acute onset. I want to know whether I can change the insurance, or I only need to purchase additional coverage.
