Q:I am a 60 year old American citizen living in Poland. I am in need of only major medical insurance coverage for Poland and when I travel. I am in the States no more than 6-8 weeks out of the year. I cannot afford an expensive policy, but I need one that will be there when I truly need it. I have never filed a claim with your company. I am healthy. I take only low dose blood pressure medicine and medicine for my hypothyroidism. I would appreciate it if you could let me know what my options are for my needs. Thank you very much!

A:
You can actually renew your current plan for up to two years. You will have to renew for the few days to complete your first year and then you can renew again for another year. Based on the cost of your current plan, it would be the lowest cost option and will cover you in Poland and during travel but will not cover you in the US. The other plans we offer are in our expatriate section and will cost more. I will send you a quote for the expatriate plans, worldwide coverage excluding the US, for your review. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our office.

Q:Do you have any other policy that would cover an international visitor to the US/Canada for using rental cars?

A:
Unfortunately, this is not a service that we can assist with. Typically when renting a car there is insurance offered at that time from the rental company that would be available. Feel free to contact our office for further assistance.

Q:I am a researcher faculty from India. As a part of Indo-US exchange program I will be visiting Florida for almost one year with J1 VISA. My wife is also accompanying me and she would have J2. Currently we are in process of VISA application. We have to choose health insurance schemes for the period of staying in US. Thing is that she is pregnant for one month now, so we can travel only around July and due to her pregnancy we have to carefully select the health insurance schemes. My question is here that whether you do have any such health insurance policy which covers maternity expenses including the delivery. In case of positive reply, kindly let me know what are the suitable schemes for such situation. I am waiting for your reply before further proceedings.
