Q:Reside prime maternity expenses I'm interested in your Reside Prime insurance coverage, but I have a few questions about the maternity coverage. I see that you cover up to $7500 per pregnancy. What if there are complications? Is that counted under the maternity limit or the normal medical limits? Also, I see that newborns are covered for 31 days. If an application is completed for the newborn before the 31 days is up, will he/she be automatically covered from there on? Thanks for answering my questions.

A:
All maternity expenses are covered up to $7,500, even if there are complications. New born will have to go through underwriting as well in order to be covered after 31 days. You can purchase online at /expatriate-health-insurance/ If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Q:Worldwide medical insurance I am a dual canadian, american citizen who is interested in buying your global medical insurance. What are the rules for what country I should list myself as when purchasing the insurance online? Thank you,

A:
You should consider yourself as US citizen for looking at the rules. Therefore, you can't get coverage for more than 6 months in 1 year in Global Medical Insurance. You can make instant purchase online at /expatriate-health-insurance/ Please let me know if you have any other questions. Okay another question for you. If I'm going to be in the US for the first 6 months and then leaving for the 2nd 6 months is that alright? That's not alright. You must be out of US for first 6 months in order to get any US coverage. If you would like to get short term insurance in US first, look at short term health insurance

Q:Long term health insurance for Vietnamese citizen I am interested in find out more information about your product. We are an US base company and we have an employee who is a Vietnamese Citizen that will be living in Vietnam for more that 6 months. Our current coverage will not be sufficient and we need to find something comparable to our present coverage. At the present the company has CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield. We would only need to find a product for this one employee. I have spent some time on your website and I have not found anything on your network of doctors (primarily in Vietnam). I noticed that there is a discount on the deductible if you go to a PPO. I would like to know if there are any in Vietnam. Thank you for your time and assistance.

A:
You can look at various products available at /expatriate-health-insurance/ You can compare them side by side, get instant quotes and make instant purchase online. Outside US, there is really no true PPO. You can go to any doctor of your choice. Deductible does not get reduced by half. However, after the deductible, insurance company pays 100% up to the policy maximum in products like GMI Gold. Please feel free to contact us at any time.

Q:US residents insurance I am a resident of the US with a permanent address in Palmyra PA. However, I am now serving on a 2 year assignment on loan from the State Department to the UN in Rome Italy. Question. Since this is a limited term assignment and my pernament residence is in the US do I apply for insurance coverage as a US resident?

A:
You can not apply as US resident because you are currently NOT US resident. I think you misunderstood my circumstances. I am working here under a work VISA. I am still a US resident according to the State department. If you hold to your answer, do you have any product that fits my circumstances? Thank you No, I have not misunderstood. Definition of US resident is different with different people such as immigration department, IRS, insurance companies etc. e.g., You may be considered US residents as per IRS because they still want your money! However, for insurance purposes, if you are physically not residing in US, you are NOT US resident. We certainly have products will fit your circumstances. Please look at /expatriate-health-insurance/ You will find several products. You can get instant quotes and compare them side by side and purchase it online. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
