Hi, We are Canadians living in Mexico. We're travelling into the US on May 29 to take a flight to Canada, and need to be covered in the US and Canada for medical. We don't have Canadian medical anymore, as we've lived out of the country for too long. The dates we need coverage are: May 29 and June 5, USA May 30 through June 4, Canada. Our ages are 64 and I am 61. When I looked at theVisitorSecure plan, it says, "VisitorSecure plan is USA visitors insurance for short term tourists and visitors to USA." But we will mostly be in Canada. Can you help us?
The Visitor Secure plan is a fixed coverage plan. It pays fixed amounts according to a schedule of benefits so if anything happens the majority of the cost will come from your pocket. The plan will cover anywhere outside of your home country so you will have coverage in or out of the US. It's primarily used for visitors to the US.
