Q:Hallo dears, I can not find an insurance for rock climbing. I am a climber from Europe and I will travel to Mexico and South America for about two months. Can you help me? Thank you

A:
You can purchase the Diplomat International plan for your travel. If you select the Middle Option in the optional Athletics Sports and Hazardous Activity Rider it will allow for the coverage of rock climbing if ropes and proper safety equipment is used. Should you have additional questions please call our office at +1 (866) 467-8289. Keep in mind that if you are wanting a plan with coverage for COVID-19, you will have to purchase an additional plan since the Diplomat International does not include coverage for COVID-19. You may view and quote other plans here.

Q:I am about to give birth in the United States. My husband and I are both F1 visa holders. I know the child will be covered for the first 30 days after being born. I am wondering, can I apply for Medicaid for the child? My husband and I have separate insurance coverages through our University. Would that affect our future possibility of getting a green card? Or should I rather look into private insurance companies?

A:
We do not offer domestic insurance for US citizens residing within the United States. You will need to contact the state department of insurance in your state or verify this information with the someone specializing in insurance for a US citizen.
