Q:I will be traveling on a J-1 Visa, with coverage needed from June 2nd 2017 to September 8th 2017. I'm 21 and will turn 22 whilst in America. I will be staying in New Jersey, however I will be flying into and out of New York. I have put below the requirements of the insurance that camp America have provided me with, but other than that my camp has not requested any specific inclusions on my insurance; - A+ rated (or backed by the full faith and credit of your home government) - covers you for working at camp including activities you are likely to undertake at camp - covers the full period of time you are in the US - covers the United States - has medical benefits of at least US$100,000 per accident or illness - has repatriation of remains in the amount of US$25,000 (in case of death the return of your body back to your home country) - has medical evacuation expenses to your home country in the amount of US$25,000 - the deductible must not exceed US$500 per accident or illness - Also, if you have any pre-existing medical condition you should ensure that this is covered by your policy and clearly stated on the information you send to us

Q:I am a PhD student from Lithuania. I?ll be visiting the US under a F-1 student visa for my three month (01-March-2017 ? 31-May-2017) PhD internship in University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. University requirements for the health insurance are as follows: 1. The plan covers a minimum of $500,000 US in medical benefits due to illness, accident or injury per plan year. 2. The plan has a deductible of $5,000 US or less per covered person per plan year. 3. The plan covers prescription medications to a minimum of $100,000 US per plan year. 4. The plan covers all pre-existing health conditions without restriction. 5. The plan covers mental health illnesses at the same level as other medical conditions. 6. The plan covers care related to pregnancy and delivery for women. 7. The plan covers care for self-inflicted injury, attempted suicide, and suicide 8. The plan must cover care for injuries related to intercollegiate athletics and recreational activities. 9. The plan is in effect as of August 1, 2016 and will remain in effect through the academic year (i.e. July 31, 2017 or December 31, 2016 for students graduating in December.)
