Q:I am a US citizen living outside USA traveling within USA. I am planning to play in a soccer scrimmage over the weekend and need to have insurance coverage while I play. Which plan should I buy?

A:
There is a plan called Diplomat America that you can purchase for coverage. You can add a sports rider on the plan to cover you while playing soccer. This plan is available to U.S. citizens that reside outside of the USA needing coverage in the USA for a short visit.

Q:I will be visiting US with my family ( wife and 2 x kids) from Australia where we currently reside. I am interest to purchase Atlas America Coverage with United Healthcare PPO network. I am unable to purchase this via your online platform. Please advise how I can purchase a policy to cover the family .

A:
Due to geographic restrictions on the Atlas America plan, proposed insureds cannot be physically located in the countries of Australia, Canada or the U.S. states of New York, Washington or Maryland at the time of purchase. If you meet eligibility requirements for the plan and would like to purhcase, you would have to wait until you depart the country of Australia before purchasing.

Q:I am based in Australia and my mother in law is visiting Australia on a visitor visa from india. We have decided to take her to Bali for a few days ( flying out of Australia to bali and then back to Australia) can you'll offer travel and medical insurance to my mother in law for the bali trip

A:
We do have some plans that could provide coverage for new illnesses and new injuries contracted after the effective date of the policy, and they will cover her anywhere outside of her home country of India. I am providing the link to these plans, however, some plans will have restrictions for being physically present in Australia. We would recommend the Patriot International or Safe Travels International plans as they do not have restrictions regarding Australia. /travel-health-insurance/ If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:Can I and my wife get medical insurance on green card status? Both of us are over 70years old.

A:
You would first want to confirm she is not eligible for domestic insurance through the state in which you reside through the Health Care Exchange. If she is eligible for a plan through the Exhchange, it would make her ineligible for any of our plans. If she is not eligible for a plan through the Exchange, depending on the state she is residing, we may have 2 options. You will want to check each plans geographic restrictions through each link below. /international-major-medical-insurance/ /bridge-plan-insurance/ I would recommend reviewing the plan information for both policies. These plans are not ACA complaint and will cover for new illnesses and new injuries contracted after the effective date. The plans will not cover preventative care, routine maintenance, pre-existing conditions and both plans exclude coverage for Covid-19. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
