Q:Want to inquire about your pre-existing conditions medical insurance.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Plans for visitors to the US do not cover pre-existing conditions. There are plans that will cover an Acute Onset of a Pre-existing Condition for insureds age 69 and below. Please see the link provided for more information on the acute onset benefit. If you would like for us to email you the quotes please provide the dates of coverage and your age. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our office.

Q:Is there an option to pay our premium on a monthly installment? Can we change fixed to comprehensive at the time of renewal?

A:
If you want to pay monthly then you would enter the dates for one month. Most plans have a $5 renewal fee each time you renew. It's not possible to change a plan on renewal. Instead you would purchase a new plan. For example, if you purchase Visitor Secure (fixed) and decide that you want a comprehensive plan later you would let the Visitor Secure plan expire and purchase the comprehensive plan. Keep in mind that if you have a fixed plan and something happens you would not be able to purchase the comprehensive plan at that time to cover the illness or injury that occurred.

Q:I want to buy a J1 visa holder insurance for my daughter. The rules of her College say it should be provided by a US based company and you only provide Sirius (Stockholm, Sweden) or Lloyds (London, UK). Do you offer J1 insurances with US companies? Would you please tell me which of your insurances works with this: http://www.newyorkdoctorsurgentcare.com/insurance-walk-in-urgent-care-located-in-manhattan-new-york/ And my last question, these are the requirements from College (additional to standard J1), please confirm if they are also covered by your insurances: "The company must have its headquarters in the United States; an office in the U.S. does not meet this requirement. In order to waive participation in the Babson sponsored policy your insurance must meet all of the following requirements: - The policy must have unlimited coverage per accident or injury. - Emergency room visits that do not result in an admission to the hospital must be covered. - Mental health must be covered as any other illness or injury. This means that both in-patient and out-patient treatment must be covered. - Injuries or illnesses that occur as a result of alcohol, illegal drugs or as the result of an attempt to commit suicide must be covered as any other illness or injury. - Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases must be covered. - There must be coverage for pre-existing conditions. - The maximum yearly deductible can not exceed $250.00 per year. - Must be portable to the State of Massachusetts.

A:
Unfortunately, there is no plan that will meet all of the requirements as listed. You would have to purchase the plan from the university.
