Q:Could you kindly tell me what's the main difference between Atlas Exchange 6 month pre-existing vs. 12 month pre-existing plan?

A:
The difference between the 6 month and 12 months pre-existing coverage on the Atlas Exchange program is the fact that this a waiting period for pre-existing consideration. You are electing to have a short (6 month) or a longer (12 month) waiting period before pre-existing conditions are considered on the plan according to the certificate wording.

Q:[Inbound Immigrant] Maternity Coverage Question Hi, The sevencorners page states that maternity is covered for upto 2800$ (<a href='/international-major-medical-insurance/'>/international-major-medical-insurance/</a>). As you know most of the US hospitals charge a bulk amount of anywhere from 1500$ to 3800$ during the first visit. So my question is the 2800$ mentioned is meant to cover that expense as a whole? Or is it meant to cover individual expenses such as each doctor visit, lab test, sonogram associated with maternity as they are conducted? Or suppose the initial cost is 1500$, then remaining 1300$ goes towards coverning other expenses? Thanks David

A:
The total coverage for anything related to is the mentioned amount. Above that, you will have to pay.
