Safe Travels Elite Insurance is a visitors health insurance plan for Non-U.S. residents traveling outside their home country, first visiting the U.S. and then visiting other countries. This plan is not available to any individual who has been residing in the USA for more than 365 days prior to their Effective Date.

Safe Travels Elite Insurance provides coverage for persons aged 14 days until the age of 90 years is attained, at the age of 90 coverage will cease. This plan is available from 5 days to 364 days and it is a fixed coverage plan.

Safe Travels Elite Insurance deductibles range from $0 to $200. The deductible is per incident and the plan pays fixed amounts according to the schedule of benefits

Safe Travels Elite Insurance participates in the First Health PPO network which is a very widely recognized PPO network all over the U.S. Of course, you are free to visit any doctor or hospital of your choice outside the PPO network. However, when you go in the PPO network, the providers will charge only the network negotiated fees, which are typically lower than their regular fees.

Safe Travels Elite Insurance is underwritten by Crum and Forster SPC, rated A by A.M. Best.

Safe Travels Elite Insurance covers acute onset of pre-existing conditions up to policy maximum per period for persons under age 70 (cardiac $25,000); the benefit reduces to $25,000 (cardiac $15,000) for people 70-79 and reduces to $15,000 at age 80.

Safe Travels Elite will cover COVID-19 (coronavirus) treatment just like any other new medical condition that occurs after the effective date of the policy.
