Looking for a comprehensive health insurance for my in law who will visit US for 87 days.. he is 78 yr old and looking for possible coverage up to 100000 Let me know if you have any insurance plan that covers acute onset of preexisting conditions for that age group. Or an insurance that do cover when needed and who use the excuse of preexisting condition not to cover. Let me know
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Insurance plans for visitors to the USA are primarily designed to cover new illnesses, injuries or accidents which occur after the effective date of the policy.
There are plan options available such as the Atlas America which will provide coverage in the amount of $100,000 for your in law, but this plan will not provide the acute onset of pre-existing condition coverage for an insured past the age of 70. An additional option would the Safe Travels USA Comprehensive plan. This plan will provide a policy maximum of $50,000, but also will provide coverage for the acute onset of a pre-existing condition up to $25,000 for their age group.
