I want to make sure my emergency medical insurance is good even tho I am not originating from my home country but from mexico and driving through the united states to Canada I have purchased it already but not sure other people telling me not valid

This plan will cover you anywhere outside of your home country for covered expenses.
Covered Expenses are defined below:
All plans on the market for visitors cover for new illnesses and new injuries that occur or manifest after the effective date. They do not cover things that are preventative routine or pre-existing. Some plans do include Acute onset benefits of pre-existing conditions and I have attached the information link below to explain that benefit option.
Therefore if your country of residence is Canada, you will have coverage until you arrive in Canada.
It does not matter that you have purchased the plan while in another country.
