To whom it may concern ,I am planing to be in us from end of September , with visa type I with my wife . i am filmmaker and will come to us for shooting ,my wife is pregnant and we are anticipating if the baby suddenly will be born in us what we have to do so we dicided to buy an insurance for her pregnancy in us , we will enter in Washington and will stay in Philadelphia for a while . How could you help us ? which type of insurance do we have to buy ? from who ? and how much is it ?
Unfortunately there will be no insurance available to visitors that will cover for maternity expenses. Some plans do offer coverage for the Complications of Pregnancy up to the first 26 weeks, however this will not cover any expenses related to the course of a regular pregnancy including delivery.
You will most likely need to pay for any maternity expenses out of pocket.
