I am travelling to Florida from the United Kingdom for 14 days, I have a pre existing condition which is Crohn's disease. Can you tell me if this affects my quote. Also, If this does affect my quote would you still be able give me insurance for my stay in Florida?
Short term plans are designed to cover the new accidents and new illness that happen after the effective date of the policy. Plans do not cover pre-existing conditions routine doctor visits, medications related to pre-existing conditions or preventative care. If any of the aforementioned items are needed you will have to pay for these out of pocket. As the plans do not cover the pre-existing conditions your price will not be affected. You are able to purchase insurance to cover any new accidents or illness that happen after the effective date of the policy.
