Hello. I am an European resident and I booked a trip to Sri Lanka and I want an insurance which includes:- trip cancelation regarding COVID: in case my residence country or the destination country applies rules/restrictions that will not allow me to travel;- medical insurance in general, but also including injuries/sickness caused by covid and while playing sports such as surf or yoga, for example. Is the patriot international a good option? Thank you

Unfortunately, there would not be a plan available that would allow for cancellation due to COVID-19 restrictions from your home country or the destination country. This is something you would want to work out directly with who you are booking your airfare and lodging with. However, we do have medical plan available that can include the medical coverage for COVID-19 in case it were to be contracted in the body after the effective date. You may view them in the COVID-19 Travel Medical Insurance section of our website. With regard to sports, it would be recommended to look over the Diplomat International plan as it would have an optional Athletic Sports and Hazardous Activity Rider. Please read over the certificate wording of the policy to be certain it will allow for the coverage you are wanting.
