We would like to travel to the USA from Norway this summer. We are residents of Norway but all have American citizenship, however our travel insurance is currently not covering any medical expenses abroad due to Covid19. We would like to purchase a healthcare travel insurance policy in the event that anyone in our family had an accident or were to become sick with Covid. Does your policy cover becoming sick from Covid, were any of us to fall ill while on our trip? We are trying to visit my mother who is ill (not covid).

There are few options on the market that cover COVID-19 if it were to manifest after the effective date of the plan and even fewer options for US Citizens. It would be recommended to purchase a plan such as Diplomat America, which will cover COVID-19 as it would any other new illness or injury should it manifest after the effective date of the plan.
