i have a International Major Medical insurance. I am covered till May 17 and thus i need to renew for few more months. I want to know whether this insurance will cover COVID-19? Also if not, then is there any other plan that covers COVID to which i can switch to on renewal?
International Major medical insurance is not renewable. So you need to purchase new policy. As per the new rule for International Major medical insurance excludes coverage for the coronavirus for policies purchased on or after Mar 11, 2020.
Safe Travels USA Comprehensive plan can be covered if you get sick from coronavirus as long as you are infected after the effective date of the policy.
