I am a student in Chicago and I am planning a trip to Italy. My passport is Indian, so I need to apply for a Schengen visa at the Italian consulate here in Chicago. One of the requirements for the visa is travel insurance. I wanted to purchase a plan that covers the minimum requirements needed for this. I wasn't sure if the plan I saw (Patriot International) covers everything required. Here is the information listed on the Italian consulate's website: "Verification of Medical Coverage Abroad for the entire period of travel in the Schengen area with a minimum coverage of $50,000 for hospitalization, emergencies, evacuation and repatriation. Make sure that these 4 benefits are itemized on the policy issued by your current US Health Insurance company (insurance card alone is not sufficient), or by a US Travel Insurance company. If your US insurance provider cannot issue a letter specifying the above, we suggest you contact a travel insurance company which will be able to do so." ---- Please confirm that this package covers the 4 items that need to be covered.
