Nanny medical coverage I need to cover my nanny for medical insurance asap she is in a B1 visa and I'm on a L1 a Work permit if your able to help please do let me know. Would i Be able to purchase maternity cover for her for a higher premium ?. Regards
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. As a visitor into the United States there are a few options for insurance that she would be eligible for. However, there is no plan that will cover the cost of maternity for a visitor. The normal expenses related to pregnancy would be paid for out of pocket from, routine doctor visits to labor and delivery and all that falls within. If eligible there are plans that at most would cover pregnancy complication up to 26 weeks. ( please see the link to the pregnancy FAQ below).
