health insurance?? Dear Madam/Sir Good Day I'm a physician from the Kingdom of Jordan/Middle east . I have been Accepted to do a fellowship training at the Mountsinai hospital in NY. One of requirements for applying for the F1 VISA is to send them a proof of life insurance in the USA during my period of training which is from April-October 2011 Is it possible I apply for health insurance online while I'm living in the Jordan??? Thanks for your help looking forward to hear from you

sorry for the many questions but i tried to purchase the (STUDY USA PLANE A) BUT when i'm filling the application it states that i should: 1 put an address.......is this must be in usa?? 2 i have to click on the choice that states i'm a registered student at usa : the problem is i'm still not registered at the mountsinai school of medicine and neither i'm physically present now in usa so how could i purchase the insurance in advance , what do you recommed to put in the fields?? thnx for your help
If you are not taking full time classes in an university, even if you are on F1 visa, you can NOT buy student insurance. You will have to just buy the travel medical insurance. And you can buy that at / Those plans do not ask you to fill US address. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thnx for your reply please bare with me this extra question , i'm a doctor and my study involves clinical training at mountsinai university hospital and its affiliated clinics it involve daily training during my six month period . so does this considered as full time classes or what?? , i'm little confused as they just asked for me to apply for health insurance and send it with my documents i would be grateful if you could guide me with my best regards zeyad
