I recently spoke with someone on the phone regarding for coverage for women who are currently pregnant. According to the representative, the policy would only be valid if the woman got pregnant while the policy was active. The policy would NOT be valid if the woman was pregnant prior (I believe in insurance vernacular that's a "pre-existing condition") to purchase of the policy. I read that "visit USA insurance" and "atlas insurance" offer travelers insurance for women pregnant. In short, I'm double checking if I can get a valid policy from either of these, altas or visit USA (are these subsidiaries of insbuy?) for my pregnant wife.
