I am looking for travel health insurance for my niece (11 yrs old) and nephew (7 yrs old) that would cover USA and Canada and it would include coverage for water sports (all just for fun) and swimming and paddle boarding and hiking (not anything extreme, just on easy trails). They are from Slovakia and they will be visiting me in the state of Washington for 44 days. They will travel from 6/26 to 8/8. I would like the limit to be $1mil. I would just buy it online, but it is not clear to me if the water activities are covered.
We would recommend the Atlas America plan, as it will cover them anywhere in the world outside of their home country including during travel, and it includes Hazardous sports coverage. The specific items, like swimming, paddle boarding, the beginner hiking would be covered. I have attached the certificate wording link for the plan below, which will list the things (on page 22) that would not be covered. This should give you a good idea of what could be.
