US citizen visitors insurance Hi I'm trying to sort insurance for my husband who is in the USA. He is a usa citizen but resident abroad. I have got insurance with you but forgot to renew so you am re-doing. However there is nothing on the form which says that he is resident abroad and the companies that come up seem to be giving insurance for those traveling to the usa as if they are not us citizens. Or does it not matter as long as I put he is a US citizen wanting insurance for the US? He went in to the US about 90 days ago so I would put it from tomorrow onwards? thanks

Once you have done this, you will only see plans which he is eligible for based upon the search criteria entered. A U.S. citizen who resides abroad is eligible to purchase some short term medical insurance plans based upon the plans home country definition. The home country in the Liaison plans is the country where the insured has their true, fixed and permanent residence. If this country is outside of the U.S. then they may purchase any Liaison plan as this insurance will cover the insured anywhere outside of their home country.
