I have a family traveling from overseas to Canada for 2 weeks and the USA for 1 week. The husband is an USA citizen and the Wife and children are Canadian Citizens. Do I need to purchase 2 different policies? For the Husband and a second for the wife and children? Can i purchase a policy for Canada and then a second policy for the USA only, it comes out much cheaper.
You will need to purchase different plans if they have differing citizenship. It would also be recommended to buy insurance to include coverage for the whole trip. A recommended plan for them would be the Patriot America Plus plan. This plan will allow for coverage for all of them, but you will need to do separate application for the differing citizenships.
