I am a South African citizen and my wife is a US citizen. We have a 11 week old baby who will have US citizen in a few weeks. We plan on immigrating to the United states in June 2017 as I have just had my IR-1 immigrant visa (green card) approved.. We will stay for about a month and a half in New Hampshire before moving on to our final destination, Honolulu. I need to have my wife and baby covered during our time that we travel from South Africa to our final destination plus a little more to be on the safe side. Let's say for about 3 months to be safe. I am not looking for coverage for myself, or do you also cover non-US citizens? Please assist me with this or direct me to the relevant department.
You need to do separate application for US citizen and Non US citizen.
You can take Patriot America Plus plan for you. Patriot America Plus you can have as long as you are not eligible to purchase insurance from domestic insurance company.
For your wife and daughter you can purchase domestic short term insurance.
