My mom is coming to stay for 1 month vacation from the UK.She is 71 years old with a pre existing condition,she has a cardiac defibrillator implanted ,and has had no heart problems since she had the surgery 3 years ago.She is also diabetic on oral medication,and is registered disabled due to chronic back issues since age 24,all that being said,she is stable and has had no hospital admissions since her surgery for the implantable device,and had had none prior to that since childbirth.She visits us every year for a month,but is not able to use her usual insurance company due to her current age.Would you be able to cover her,and what would the quote be?
Short term plans for an international visitor covers new sickness, injuries or accidents that may occur after the eff. date of the policy. Plan will not pay for any pre-existing or preventive care. Some plans provides coverage for an Acute Onset of Pre-existing Conditions below age 70. 70+ we have one plan which covers acute onset of pre-ex up to $25,000 but it has exclusion for cardiac disease and conditions.
