I am currently on opt status and i was trying to buy the health insurance online i selected a plan with 60$ payment for a month 0$ deductible and max coverage is 100,000. I have a question if i want to buy it for a while year and want monthly payment it is not allowing me to do so. So i have to buy insurance every month by repeating the same procedure? The name of the plan is ATLAS EXCHANGE. I didn't have insurance last year. In 2015 i had insurance from.my university. I am residing in MO and the last entry date on US was 28 dec 2013.
You would be eligible to purchase the Atlas Exchange program for coverage on OPT as long as you hold a valid F visa in the United States.
If you would like to purchase this plan an pay monthly you will have to purchase for one month and renew the same plan every month thereafter. If is not possible to purchase for 12 months and have a monthly billing cycle, if you purchase for 12 months a one time you will pay for the entire duration at once.
