Hi, I have applied for my mom green card and waiting for green card. Can my mom qualify for new immigration specific plan or need to stick to visitors visa. I already have visitors visa which will expire on 1st Jan and i can renew but have to get a new one so instead of vistors visa can i get new immigrant specific plan for my mom.thanks
You may repurchase the Safe Travels Elite plan as long as they insured hasn't been in the US for more than 1 year. An alternative option is the Visitors Care or the Patriot America Plus. These plans will cover your mother until her green card application is approved. Once the green card application is approved, you may purchase a domestic insurance through your state's healthcare exchange.
