Hello, I'm currently in the US on L2 visa and have enrolled in the school, currently in my second semester. I have applied change of status to F1 visa. I'm not employed but a full time student. Would I still be able to purchase insurance from insubuy or do I have to wait until the Change of Status to F1 is complete. If student insurance is not possible, would I be able to purchase visitor insurance until my F1 is approved? I've been on my spouse insurance for the past 2+ years until she moved out of the US recently. The insurance provider was Cigna Global.
As you have prior domestic insurance. You have to purchase domestic short term plan until you have an approved F1 visa.
Once you are on F1 visa. You can purchase International Student insurance.
