J1 visitor insurance needed I will be undertaking a placement year at Nova Southeastern University, Florida this coming academic year and require insurance. Having looked around, the student secure option you offer seems the best suited due to providing coverage for intramural sports. I will be undertaking a research placement at the uni and will therefore not be enrolled as a student, however I will be living on campus and am a full time student in the UK taking a placement as an essential aspect of my degree. I have an J1 Visa which is of the research scholar or professor subcategory, does this still enable me to be covered by the student secure insurance?

Thanks for your clarification, below are the requirements for the school: Medical Benefits: $100,000 Repatriation of Remains: $25,000 Medical Evacuation: $50,000 Deductible (per accident or illness): $500 I would be looking at the budget or select plan of the student secure insurance. Would these be suitable?
The requirements you forwarded are the basic J1 requirements. Therefore any of the Student Secure plans will work with at least the 100,000 policy maximum.
