University of the Pacific Insurance Requirements

The University of the Pacific requires that J-1 scholars and their dependents have health insurance that meets the standard requirements. In addition to these requirements, the plan must have at least a 25% coinsurance.

F-1 and J-1 international students are automatically enrolled in the school’s insurance plan. They may purchase a different plan if it provides comparable coverage and is ACA compliant.
