United Theological Seminary International Student Insurance

General Information

Bishop Milton Wright, father of Orville and Wilbur Wright, founded the Union Biblical Seminary in 1871.

Over the years, the seminary expanded its scope of operations, and merged with the Reading, Pennsylvania-based Evangelical School of Theology in 1954 to become United Theological Seminary (UTS). To this day, the institution steadfastly propagates theological education as a means to achieve spiritual growth and spread the message of Jesus Christ to create a peaceful and progressive world.

United Theological Seminary Academic and Research Opportunities

UTS has grown from being a small school to a much-respected seminary that provides ample opportunities for practical applicability-based learning. After only providing bachelor’s degrees, the institution has moved on to confer master’s and doctoral degrees, the latter being one of the largest of its kind in the U.S. A large number of concentrations are available for students to choose from. Some of these are:

Master’s Degrees

  • Master of Divinity
  • Master of Ministry
  • Master of Theological Studies
  • Master of Arts in Christian Ministries
  • Master of Arts

Doctoral Degree

  • Doctor of Ministry

There are many interested prospective students residing in areas where theological education is hard to come by. They can utilize the online certification programs that UTS provides.
