I am emailing you with a question about coverage. My mother is a Canadian Citizen who has private Canadian health insurance plus supplemental coverage purchased for ex-pats to use while outside of Canada. She came to the US to be my caregiver while I recover from rotator cuff surgery. Now, due to the Coronavirus global pandemic, she can't get home for several months (flights have been cancelled by the airlines) and her existing ex-pat coverage expires around May 10th, 2020. I am information gathering to try to find a way to purchase a supplemental insurance plan for her for a month or two in the event that she can't get back to Canada until June or July. Does you company offer plans like that?
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us.
Can you please provide your mother's age, which state do you need coverage, her arrival date in US ,how long do you need coverage for her and will be glad to send you quote by e-mail?
Insurance for an international visitor provides coverage for new sickness, injuries or accidents which may occur after the effective date of the policy. It will not cover any routine maintenance for pre-existing or preventive care and it will be secondary to any other benefits she will get from her current insurance.
