Visitors insurance coverage advise My parents are planning to visit me in the US for 6 months. I live in Tracy, CA (95376) and there is a Sutter Tracy Community hospital which is 2 miles from my house. Parents are healthy and no pre-existing conditions Dad - 78 years Mom - 67 years 1. Hi, I like the Atlas America comprehensive, but I noticed that it doesnot cover emergency visits, unless admitted . Is that true ?. Is there another insurance that covers that. I am think of an accidents and most common accidents, even broken bones, patents are sent home the same day, so this insurance would not help in any way.
If person goes to emergency if admitted spent night in the hospital there is no penalty otherwise otherwise treatment will be covered not the emerency room charge this for sickness. For Accident there is no penalty.
