I will be travelling to the USA for a period of 3 months. I am UK citizen and have Type 1 Diabetes. I cannot bring my full amount of insulin with me and will require medical insurance that will allow me to obtain my prescriptions during my visit. Please can you advise whether you have a policy that would suit this?

There are no short term health insurance plans available on the market for a visitor which will provide coverage for prescriptions which are in relation to a pre-existing condition. There are plans like the Patriot America Plus plan for example, which will include a prescription discount card. The discount card can be used at the pharmacy for any prescription.
