If i buy a insurance for 6 months and had to return to home country within 3 months. Can i place a cancellation request and request for refund for remaining 3 months?
Each policy will have a specific cancellation policy that it will follow. Typically, before the effective date some plans will be fully refundable. After the effective date some plans will provide a pro-rated refund minus a cancelation fee if no claims have been filed since the effective date of the policy.
