I'm a Canadian Citizen visiting the US for a few months. I'm already in the US and staying with a friend in South San Francisco. Is it possible to get a policy with a flexible end date? I am looking for travel medical coverage myself if I need to make a trip to the hospital in case of an emergency. Please recommend a few options and I will get back to you on this.

You may have either plan start tomorrow. Visitors insurance plans are primarily designed to cover new illnesses, injuries or accident which occur after the effective date of the policy. They will not cover pre-existing conditions, routine doctors visits, or preventative treatments such as immunizations. Both of these plans are also renewable, so you may purchase initially with an expiration date, but extend either plan as needed. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
